برای جذب بسیاری از مخالفان نظام جمهوری اسلامی چرا تغییراتی در پرچم جمهوری اسلامی ایران ایجاد نمی کنید، مثلاً پرچم ثابت می ماند، اما فقط نشان شیر را به آن نسبت می دهید. که قبل از انقلاب در پرچم ایران بود به طوری که نشان خداوند به صورت دایره ای در وسط شیر است و همچنین شیر حامل شمشیر ذوالفقار امام علی علیه السلام است.
سرود ملی جمهوری اسلامی نیز پس از آن که در زمان حضرت عاليمقام شما سرود دیگری تغییر یافت.
