Did anyone get their passports back in time?
A friend and I are leaving on the 27th and this damn embassy won't answer their phones. We just want the passports back - anyone have any advice as to how long it takes/if they're returned in time for the flights you specify on your application form?

passport also with them
Hi Kim I'm currently in the same scenario, where I have a flight to another country very soon and my passport hasn't been sent back. Did you end up getting it back in time?

I can't get in touch with Iranian Consulate and need my passport back from them
I can't get in touch with the Iranian Consulate. I have been trying to call for weeks now in the their phone hours 12-2:30pm on 02 6290 7000. The lines is either busy or you get put on hold then it cuts off with a voiceover of someone saying they cannot help at this time and call back another time.

I am at the point where I'm not even caring about the visa to Iran anymore. I JUST WANT MY PASSPORT back so I can at least visit the other countires on my trip. Can anyone help?

Balls
YeP Reza is right. Usually Iranians who do not like the government like the Americans so much to such extent that they would love to suck their balls. If you found Reza ask him to do that for you. Regards

I was physically ejected!
What a weird experience! I went in there to ask about a visa to go backpacking through Iran (i am an American citizen) and they just about went crazy. "No visa for American!" the guy yelled, and when I politely and quietly asked whether there were any exceptions to this policy, he gestured to the security guard who just picked me up by the shoulders without saying a word. Bizarre sense of hospitality.
