I need a indian police clearns plzz help me
I do all the VISA applications for our company staff who do Health and Safety audits internationally.
In November 2012 the process follwed to obtain an Indian VISA at the offices of the Indian High Ccommitioner in Johannesburg was a pleasure. Helpful, friendly, efficiant staff made it a lovely experience sitting in the long queue and later collecting the passport, all in one day.
You have subsequently changed the process and appointed BLSas your agents!! Well what a nightmare it has been.
I arrived at the BLS office on Friday morning at 10:00 and took in my position in the queue. At 13:00 we were told that the office was closing for lunch, which I don't mind. Coming back at 14:00 I noticed that they were assisting people with numbers and on enquiring was told that the office closes for applications at 14:30 and I was supposed to get a number before I left at 13:00, thus I cannot be assisted until Monday morning.
Arriving there at 08:00 this morning, I registered in the book at 08:11 and was 7th in the row. I only received assistance at the counter at 12:00. The office is understaffed and the same person dealing with applications had to make copies, assist in filling in forms, answering requests, etc. The system went down for a while and we wer happy to learn that they would take in the applications and that we could collect receipts later in the day or tomorrow.
We are in a 'catch 22' situation whereby we had to book the flights and pay for them before applying for the visa, and because of their incompetence we have to change flights again at an enormous expense as the visa will not be ready in time.
Please get your offices to investigate this frustrating situation.
Kind regards
Jeanette

My bag containing passport & personal belongings stolen from Hotel in Sandton City on May 5, 2013 at 8.30AM from the lobby. The embassy personnel led by Mt G.S Tanwar, Mr. Prem Masih, Mr. Pankaj Kumar, Mr. R S Chauhan enabled my travel back on the same day by issuing me an emergency certificate by 4.30PM when i reached the embassy. Inspite of the situation where i had no Identity i.e. DL, ATM card all being in the bag, and my lodging the required documents including FIR only at 11.30AM i had my emergency travel document issued on the same day. I would like to record my appreciation to all the abovementioned folks for the excellent service provided. It was a warm reception and very supportive, which is the need in such situations.
Keep it up !!! Indian Consular Office in Johannesburg.
Thanks & regards
