Normal
Salem brothers,
I am an Algerian ,I went to east Europe and i saw that this Hungary is normal country, but it is poor country but really i liked, but life there is hard,i think very hard, right now i live in London what i saw is,all people from east europe came to work here as cleaners or builders, because there is nothing in east europe,Algeria for me is more better than Hungary, and it is true, they hate Arabs, and Muslims (especialy Turkish people),what i can say, dont put your self down for east europe countries, they need us more we need them, and for better life, come to UK or Germany otherwise Sweden....allah ysahel 3la khouti,Salam

Weird things in your Consulat
To Mr. the Ambassador of the Hungarian Republic

Dear Sir,
I am extremely disappointed, and very surprised, by what is happening at your Consulat
in Algiers. I have to attend a scientific Conference in Budapest (July 31-August 4 2009). The organizers
in Budapest (György Darvas and Eva Thiry) have done anything well to help me (see
below and me, too, have done my job for the Conference. Now, the point is that there
something going wrong at the Consulate of Hungary in Algiers! I explain. I went to your
Consulat in Algiers on Monday 29 June to apply for the visa (I live in Oran, about 600
km away) and was told that only ONE document was missing, the hotel reservation. Well.
I returned on Wednesday 1st July to Algiers, a second time, and what was my surprise:
the Consulat was closed! The only person that was present near the Consulate is the one
who was precisely at the Office for the visa, on Monday 29 and, in that day, he didn't at all
tell me that the Consulate will be closed on wednesday July 1st and learned later from policemen
(see below) that "it is maybe was a Hungarian National holiday". I tried to ask him and, to my
great surprise, he began to vociferate at my face (two algerian policemen on duty) were present,
listening, also surprised. He told me that he had nothing to do for me and left without any kindness.
(I learn in the meantime that the hotel reservation was already sent to the Consulate via email
and a copy from Eva Thiry was sent to me too.) Now I must tell you now that he (the guy mentioned above)
is precisely the great problem! The two policemen told me to not bother because, effectively,
he is NOTHING but the chauffeur of the Ambassador. What, I said?!! Yes, he is only the chauffeur
of the Ambassador and we all (I and the two policemen) saw him leaving the garage of the Ambassy in a car of
the Ambassy! It was true. In this (weird) situation I had no choice but to return home disapointed. (Before leaving
Algiers, I informed by mail Professor Darvas saying that I was almost to give up my project
to attend the Conference and explained him the situation, briefly.)
My first question now is: why is it that a simple algerian chauffeur, half-mad, really, virulent and without
any education could have in charge such important things as visas for the Republic of Hungary,
an European State? My other question is: do the Algerian scientists do not deserve to have
some consideration and their scientifi affairs be treated by a only an algerian"chauffeur"?
Finally I would say that althought things are going wrongly and my participation seriously
compromised, I am still ready to do a last effort to return one (third) time, but no more, to Algiers
to get the visa, in one step, and the SAME day, at the sole condition that a Hungarian official
from your Consulate tells me so by mail and/or phone (my air-travel reservation is for July 27).
Thank you very much for your kind listening.
With my best regards and consideration.
