I am a US citizen, with residente permanente visa living in Mexico. I want to move to Guatemala and apply for permanent resident pensioner visa. How do I obtain proof of no criminal record from Veracruz, and also Jalisco where I lived before?
I am trying to obtain info. for my mother in law who is a Guatemalan citizen and U.S. resident. She plans to depart Guatemala and arrive in Mexico D.F. and travel by bus to Tijuana and cross the border in Tijuana. I will be arriving in Mexico tomorrow,Feb 13,2013 and within 90 days I want to Visit Guatemala.
Once I am in Mexico, do I need to obtain a Visa, from the Guatemala Embassy in Mexico city,
or
can I just travel directly to Guatemala, and obtain a entry visa at the border if traveling by Bus or on the plane?

Dear Embassy,
I am from Hong Kong (China), and would like to visit Guatemala in coming June.
I will stay in US for a week (I have vaild US travel visa till Nov 2012), do I need a visa to go to Guatemala?
If yes, what document should I prepare?
Can I get a Guatemala visa from consulate in Mexico City? How can I get there via public transportation?
