Please help Ive had a job offer does this Company exist, I have to pay courier fee but am just a little worried that it is a scam.

I applied for a job and got an offer withim days mo interview norhing. When i was called i was asked to check my mails and respond immediatelly. Looking at the salary and the job title i immediately had a bad feeling. The start date is 16 december thats too quick. Am told my duties will be given to me after training yet am promised a R157 456.00 in usd to be an administrator how true is that

My Name is Lucas Michael am from south Africa i work with Bold Construction & Mining Company in Ghana i work as there cook.

This Mr Jordan, phones us everyday asking for the courier fees which must be paid via money gram, will not allow us to pay via electronic payment as then there is a paper trail. I emailed him and asked all the following questions to which we have had no reply;


1.What type of Mining does Bold Mining do?
2.What will my actual duties be?
3.Why is there no registration number on the letterhead for the Company, that is very strange?
4.Why does the Company not appear under Companies listed in Ghana?
5.Why if I phone the number in Wales I can never get to speak to anyone there?
6.Please give me your head office number and HR contact person.
7.How can a Visa be issued without the passport?
8.If the Company can afford to pay such good salaries, all air fares and Visa costs, why is the small courier fee ( I say small as that is what it is compared to the other costs) being paid by the employee?
9.Why cant the fee be paid directly to the Courier via electronic transfer?
10.Why cant this be paid by the Company and deducted from my first salary?
11.How come the Visa and airfares are being bought immediately when I haven't signed an actual employee contract with the Company?
12.What happens if you spend all that money and I change my mind, as I have no actual contract?
13.What about vaccinations, medicals, etc?
14.Who is going to pay for all that?

THIS IS MOST DEFINATELY A SCAM IF 100 PEOPLE REPOSND AND PAY THE FEE HE IS LAUGHING.
UNFORTUNATELY THESE PEOPLE CATCH PEOPLE LIKE US THAT ARE DESPERATE FOR WORK

I have also received such a letter. I phoned the company and spoke to a Jordan guy. When I asked for his company's registration details, he would not respond and asked for my email to "email it to me". I could hear he was outside but gave him my email address anyways. When I asked him to confirm the email address, he said "I'll call you back." I asked him again to confirm the address and again he just said "I'll call you back." Even though my number shows as unknown! I could also not find their company's registration details anywhere on all the sites which normally does show you whether a company is legit or not. My opinion: they are a scam.

I was just wondering if Alliance Construction And Mining Group, Ghana really exists or is it just a scam? I would really like to know because my boyfriend has been offered a job by the said company and they responded almost immediately and the interview was even done via email. They said that my boyfriend should be in Ghana by November 25, 2013, despite the fact that he just applied for the job on the last week of October. Your response would be greatly appreciated.
