Let us continue to maintain GHANAs good name
Dear Sir/Madam,
Until 1997 I held a Ghanaian passport and my three daughters were born in 1984, 85 & 89. They currently hold German passports but going forward they see themsselves naturally as Ghanaians. To apply for Ghanaian passports for them I callled the Consulate in Berlin and explained the situation, I was told there shouldn't be a problem I should add a copy of my renunciation certificate to their application. I was made to pay Euro 30.00 per application form and a further Euro 120.00 processing fees per person making a total of Euro 450.00. The applications and all accompanying documents were rreturned to us the next day after sending them by registered mail to the Embassy in Berlin. When I asked of the reasons I was told my children are not eligible to be issued with Ghanaian Passports and the fees paid will be reimbused shortly. This was on the 25th of March 2012. Hitherto the refund is still outstanding and all efforts to query it in a written form has remained unreplied and telephonically a lady by the name of Joyce tells me the refund is in the pipeline. Is there a foul play somewhere along the line? I will appreciate to hear back from you. My Email is alexander@quaynor.com and my cell is 0177 575 99 99.

Help Ghanaians in Germany, for that is our work
l cannot remit; l have children back home who have to be taken care of.My passport has expired, l applied for a new one which cost me over 200euros. it has been over 3 months now since l applied and l do not have the passport. We live in the 21st century the passport office in Berlin and the immigration services. Please do something about it for it is very disgraceful and very very bad.
