RUDE AND UNHELPFUL
I am a British citizen working for the Bahrain Government. My Bahraini boss is invited to an official function in Paris. I am asked to enquire about what sort of visa he will require (e.g. short term diplomatic). I try to email them but was given an incorrect address (gov, not gouv). When I phoned the woman back twice she said the email was correct and put the phone down on me. Then there was an exchange of about 6 emails as I attempted to find out if there had been an official invitation. It finished with the visa section telling me my attitude was unacceptable and they would inform my department. Rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. I deal with visas to Schengen (Italy, Germany and France), UK, USA, Canada, China and Australia. I have never encountered such rudeness from other Embassies. VFS Global who deal with certain countries(including France)are very good but I wish luck to anyone who has to deal with the Embassy visa department directly. It's a pity as I like France and the French. Other Bahrainis I work with have reported similar rudeness,so it's not just me.

Why
Dear Sir/madam
My name is Dr hassan
Im carrying a schangen visa and plan to visit france with my wife and my kids to see paris and eurodisney so i took an appointment almost four weeks ago and my wife went to the embassy on 9/7/2014 at 10 am and there is no father consent so she came next day with my consent ,And they refuse to take and told her to take another appointment, at same day they call her at 11:23 am ask her to come before 12 noon, how she can do it and she is muhraq and will come take my kids from hamad town to french embassy and im on sickleave.
I called somebody named aric or eric and he told me that you miss your chance in very rude way and told me he has to hang up because his work finish !
I dont know why this things happen in one of the biggest ,advanced and developed country France ,in the world
I changed my plan to take my family to Rome
Really looking farward hearing from you
Regards
Dr hasan

Appointment - It is really a nightmare
Trying to get an appointment, either the phones are completely off tone, busy, or no dial tone otherwise when we do speak to someone they say all appointments full call tomorrow. It is over a month trying to get an appointment. Something really requires to be done regarding this. A online appointment system will be much appropriate.

TEF
Dear sir/madam.,
I would like to know if you conduct the TEF in the embassy or maybe a cultural center or not. If you do please provide me with the details, and if not please advise me on where to take the test.
Sincerely,
Dr. Hoda
