Before you go on shooting
I know this comment might not go well with you; but how long the courts in London being going on with the Mr. Murdoch news paper tabloid in phone hacking and have Coulson convicted.
If the British Tabloid case was one against journalists hacking few private phones, would the British courts let go of journalists working against their national security?? what gives the right to any journalist that works with a terrorist organisation writing lies not facts creating false images to propagate on TV. These journalists were caught in a non-licenced premises creating false reports to assist terrorists. Is that what anyone calls freedom of speech?? You see on TV many foreign journalists reporting from Cairo why weren't they been arrested?? Of course the Western media is not giving you these facts. If the American army caught these journalists sitting with the Taliban in Afghanistan weren't they end up in Guantanamo Bay?? Get the facts right before you jump to conclusions.

Peter Greste
What a joke of a country. I would suggest from the farce that has been this trial over recent months the judiciary is not even the least bit competent. Morons trying to impersonate intelligent human beings. We will be cancelling our planned holiday. I will never visit this joke of a country.

Freedom
We must have freedom of the press. It's not as though we don't know what is happening in Egypt. Spot light is now on you because of jailing of these journos and the injustices of your system.
Free them now.

WE MUST VENT OUR ANGER
Bombard not only the embassies here but worldwide. Let their tourist boats continue to rust but have sympathy for the everyday Egyptian who has to live with this regime that is taking them back to the dark ages.

We will NOT be visiting Egypt on a planned world tour next year...
The jailing of Peter Greste and his treatment by Egyptian authorities is a DISGRACE. Shame on your country....

Your country sickens me
your country sickens me with it's closed minded politically motivated jailing of innocent journalists, how dare you do this to people trying to spread the news of what is happening there. I will never purchase anything egyptian and hope your country burns in hell for all eternity for the gross miscarriage of justice that you perpetrate !!!

Egypt needs to be punished
My partner and I just sent a letter to our MP requesting that all Australian Government support to Egypt be ceased immediately including support provisioned through the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction to which my tax dollars contribute. As a small business owner who frequents Europe and the Middle East, my staff and I have decided to boycott everything Egyptian including it's national carrier, Egyptian products (apparel, food stuffs, etc.) and holidaying there. The sentence against Mr. Greste is a travesty of justice that will not go unnoticed. FREE PETER GRESTE AND HIS FELLOW JOURNALISTS NOW.

Sort it out Egypt
Unless decisive action is taken and the release of Peter Greste granted, Egypt will be marred with stain of injustice for years to come. Stand up and do the right thing Egypt !
