Dear
i have to travel to Egypt but since there is no Egyptian embassy or consulate in Tajikistan i can not apply for a visa. i have tajik passport i have to travel on 1 july to egypt, i am planing to come to istanbul on 28 and apply for the visa i have turkish student residence is 4 working days enough for getting a visa and my passport back so that i can travel on 1 july ?

i have transit in istanbul for 8h. I do not have visa for turky. Can I pass or no ?

We are trying to apply for visas for students from Istanbul participating in The Liquid Continent project, primarily fundded by the EU, which is designed to take part in the cultural dialogue and exchange through exploring the various faces of three great Mediterranean cities: Alexandria, Venice and Istanbul. The Consulate unfortunately is not helpful or even cooperative. I am just wondering: why purely cultural and artistic activities are not supported by the Egyptian Consulate?
yeah surely you can last winter i was down in cairo it took a friend 10 minutes at the airport to get a visa in return for like 15 - 20 dollars.

I am from Macedonia and fly on 13 July 2009 to Cairo with Turkish Airline ( Skopje-Istanbul-Cairo).
The agency here couldn't tell me about the visa issue. They told me I might get it in the airport. But I am not sure. I ask you to give me more information about VISA issue. Should I have some documents about the VISA? Will I get it in the airport for sure?
We dont have embassy of Egypt in Macedonia, so I couldnt go to ask.
Please let me know as soon as possible.
