I want to know some important issue.
I'm a palestinian resident in UAE (carrting Paletinian Passport)
my origin from Gaza-Palestine
Do I need a visa to enter Egypt and then pass to my home in Gaza?
Remark: 6 months ago, I did enter Egypt without any kind of visa as the same was practiced with Palestinian residents

My husband is austrian and my uae residence visa is housewife. We plan to visit egypt. My passport is filipino. How can we apply as tourist visa in Egypt especially in my case?

On July 2012, There was an announcement in the Emirates Al Youm Newspaper stating that:
Egypt allows 9 nationalities to enter Egypt on Tourist Visa without the need to have Pre processed Entry Visa (i.e. their 15-Days Tourist Visa shall be issued at the Airport)

مصر تسمح لــ 9 جنسيات بدخول أراضيها دون تأشيرة
أخطرت سلطات الهجرة والجوازات المصرية شركات السياحة والسفر العاملة في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة بأن دخول مواطني 9 جنسيات مختلفة إلى أراضيها بات من دون تأشيرة.
وحسب صحيفة الرؤية الاقتصادية فقد أبلغت شركة مصر للطيران مواطني دول كل من (تونس، والمغرب، والجزائر، وتركيا، وروسيا، وكازاخستان، وأذربيجان، والصين، والهند) بعدم ضرورة الحصول على تأشيرة لدخول البلاد بغرض السياحة.
وقال السفير المصري لدى دولة الإمارات، تامر منصور للصحيفة إن هذا القرار يأتي في إطار توجه الحكومة الحالي لدعم القطاع السياحي عبر استقطاب مواطني هذه الدول، مشيراً إلى أهمية هذه الخطوة على صعيد طمأنة الجميع بأن مصر ستظل واحة جذب سياحي، وهو الأمر الذي اعتراه مؤخراً بعض الشكوك جراء عدم الاستقرار السياسي الذي شهدته البلاد إبان الفترة الانتقالية

Dear Sir,
My son is turning 18 on Sept 2012. He is travelling to Canada this August for his hiigher education. I need to know the following please :
1) He does not have the Egyptian ID yet. How can I apply for that . what documents does it need? and how long does it take
2) His passport is expiring on Aug 31st. How can he apply for the new passport? what doc does he need? how long does it take?
3) What is the official age for Military serice in Egypt please.
