We have been informed by many sources to apply for a residence visa, to Ecuador we need to obtain the application @ the consulant closest to u's. This would be San Francisco, but when we called they told us no, you have to retain a lawyer in Quito, first. We are very confused and would like accurate information emailed, for this process. We can not afford to go there to be told to return. Please assist u's with this matter. Greatfully, Mr. & Mrs. Ronald Gross
