One of my cousin has applied visit visa for himself and his family, and the application sent to Canadian Embassy through courier in the end of August 2011. Though, as per the info on the website the maximum time for visit visa is given as 15 working days, whereas he has not so far been informed by the embassy about the status of his applications. Its nearing two months now. It is very unfortunate that there is no proper contacts provided by the embassy for an applicant to know the status of his application. It is requested that Canadian Embassy and Consulate should at least provide a proper contact channel to applicants in such indefinite delays and complete silence on part of the embassy.
