Not a clue
Gday, My missus and I applied two months ago for my mother-in-law to come and visit us in Oz for the birth of our child; for its a very emotional time for my missus 'cos she has no family from her side who lives close by. My missus already had our baby last month. Ok then atleast we'll have her for Xmas but xmas is nearly here and, the TTS Suva and TTS Lautoka are telling me that the Australian High Commission is processing the visa. The AHC is saying that they don't process visa applications, the TTS does. Nobody in Fiji has a bloody clue who processes visa applications anymore? One person was even yawning on the phone. I know Fiji is awesome for its laidback lifestyle but in the immigration offices is embbarrassing, shameful and shows incompetenmcy.

Please do not fall into this web scams..they are only interested in reaping people off - their hard earned money..Please check with the embassy first for clarification. Such people should be taken to task.

Work Permit
How can one obtain a work permit from the embassy if they wish to visit Australia on vacation and might need to do some odd works here and there to earn some supplementary funds for his/her vacation.
