I got a letter from Adam Collyer Esq, saying I have been chosen for $500,000 for a charity thing from Mr. and Mrs. Wier. Is this real or not?

I got an email from Adam Collyer@lawyer.com in concerns of a charity fund program by Mrs and Mr weir. Then i found out by a notary rep. that i had got scamed . This was a huge let down for me. Someone needs to stop this because people are having a hard time right now and by all means i wasn't laughing when the notary rep. from the bank said it wernt true i almost shed a tear . How did these people get my information ?
