my husband visa application was under process at the brtish high comission on 26th january 2012. now on the visa traking system the neasage reads your visa application has been forwarded to the embassy on 3 march 2012. what does that mean and how long will it take?

My husband & i have applied for a visit visit to UK. Our purpose of visit is to attend the fellowship acturial ceremony of our son Shoaib Javed,presently working with earnest & young in London.The function in schedules on 30.10.2009.We had applied on 21.08.09 & were told that the process will take 5 working weeks.I was in constant with the UK embassy in abudhabi & was informed by them on 20.10.09 that our passports have been processed & returned to I'abad.I would like to ask you to please inform us at your earliest regards our visa status as 30.oct, is just next Friday & we hardly have any time to plan & finalise our visit.Please inform at the earliest.
