Good morning
I made an appointment for my father in law to go to Antalya and give his document to obtain a visa to come and visit us in UK.
Can I just double check are you going to give his passport back in a same day after giving his document to the embassy?

i took my son to visit his father in Antalya, his brother came round the house once it was dark.. shouting & shooting how I wasn't shot I dnt know!! as I was sitting infront of the window (family room) I was covered in glass & in shock another shot came covering my little boy in glass, we gt to the door when another shot came us diving on the floor,then the boys father left us to get the jandarma, his brother carried on shooting all the windows for 30minutes shouting our names I hid in the bathroom, I actually rocked my little 1 to sleep in fear, I realy thought we were going to die, jandarma came didn't give a damb about us as soon as I spoke English it was a sigh,they took photos but didn't take the cartridges with them for evidence. we made statements only to find the father & mother were not pressing charges & because of this it didn't matter what he had done, this is gona scare me for life iv never faced death before, I was in shock for 4weeks having to drink alcohol to sleep,my son wet the bed for 3weeks. that living rm window had at least 6shots through it.i think it is so unfare that this evil man has got a way with it. my son will no longer visit his Turkish family now.
i have sent off my passport for renewal.i am worried as i need to renew my residency .i am worried that the passport wont be back in time and dont want to be fined or get into trouble.
I would like to ask about working in turkey, I have been told that with a LTP I do not need a seperate work permit, could you clarify this please.
Hi.. I am reading material regarding marriage very conflicting.. I am a British national and wish to marry in Turkey to my partner.. Can you tell me whether a Certificate of No Impediment is required or an Affidavit? How long is/are my document/s valid for? What documents are required? Would I need my document/s translated into Turkish? Which embassy do I need to go to get married? And finally, my partner is Turkish and holds a British passport for the last 17 years, what documents are required for him?
I really hope someone can answer my questions.. Please help..
Hello, I am a foreigner living and working in Antalya and I would like to attend a conference in London. I have all the documents needed for the travelling,together with the conference ticket but I am not sure if I need to present an invitation letter from the conference organisers. Kindly advise me please.

I'm a UK national living in Oxford.
I wish to invite my friend to London for a one week visit early next year. Can she get a visa, how long does it take typically and how much does the visa cost?
I assume she can apply and pay online but I assume also she would have to attend your consulate for biometrics and to collect the visa.
Any advice you can give will be much appreciated.
