Ukraine scares me
Could someone please help me with an official email address for Lugansk State Medical University? And I mean one for the University, not a so-called agent who is asking for thousands of dollars.

Thanks,
Ron

Some Clarifications
This response is to "Guy": Hello "Guy", it will be incorrect to draw a general view about Nigerian agents as being not trustworthy. There are bad people everywhere in the world, and until you travel to many places, you might not know this.

I am a Nigerian, and the Director of a consulting company OguCS Ltd. that owns www.tostudyinukraine.org, registered in Ukraine and assist international students from all over the world secure admission to study in Ukraine.

I am compelled to reply to this, even though I was about ignoring, because someone else will read this and also believe that Nigerians are all dubious, something which is a fallacy.

You can see videos of me and some of my students in Ukraine by visiting www.tostudyinukraine.org/videos/

An agent, or a consultant is someone who helps you do what you are also able to do, but for some reasons, not disposed to do that. If you can do everything a consultant can do, in that case you don't need one. And yes, you might not need a consultant to secure Ukrainian admission, and we never make this a secret.

People resort to a consultant if they are not able to do something due to lack of expertise, knowledge, time or for whatever reason. A consultant then charges some stated amount to assist in rendering such services.

If you visit our corporate blog at www.blog.tostudyinukraine.org and read the article on admission requirements and procedures, we make it clear that the student can actually accomplish the entire steps without assistance, which is why that blog post was published.

If, however, the student decides to use the services of a consultant, then it is very normal to pay for the services. This is not an obligation as the student is at liberty to accept or not. And mind you, that the work of the consultant is not just to secure the admission / invitation letter, it goes way beyond that until the student is sitting in the classroom for his / her first lecture and even beyond.

Visit our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/tostudyinukraine and read the conversation and assistance we offer freely to students that are planning to study in Ukraine.

So, please my dear "Guy" don't make hasty conclusions. If you have had an unpleasant experience, then be definite about that, as not everyone is actually dubious and Nigeria has a lot of good people out there.

I am completely against any form of dubious activities in the form of consultancy, but it is better to be specific than to label a whole nation with a bad tag.

I have my own personal blog at www.frankogu.com where I showcase my beloved country, Nigeria, while you can as well visit the company's corporate site at www.ogucs.com

My name is Frank Ogu, and I am the Director of this company.

I am a Nigerian and love my country and will not keep quiet when someone tries to colorize all of us with a negative paint.

NIGERIA HAS MANY GOOD PEOPLE WITH A FEW BAD ONES, JUST LIKE IN ANY OTHER COUNTRY.

Quality of Eduation - Ukraine
I would like to hear from anyone who has experienced the MD/MBBS program at Kharkhov State.

1. What is the overall quality?
2. How are the exams?
3. How rigid is the program?
4. What are the labs like?
etc.

Or tell me about your program, if not Kharkhov.
Thanks.

Ukaraine
Thanks Guy, however, when I write to the email address at www.ksmu.kharkov.ua or www.knmu.com.ua, I get responses from a Mr. Singh, and it is difficult to confirm that he is an official employee or agent of the University.

Thanks again.
