Very Good Service
To all of the above negative persons: Please when you call follow the prompts on the phone. I did, several times and I had no problem. Also on the website, if you read carefully, you will notice that there are information on your queries.

Take it easy with your language! If you come to this website with your negative attitude, of course, you will get nowhere! I too am from T&T.

No response to my email query
I emailed the office of the Consulate-General seeking information on getting dual citizenship more than three weeks ago without any response. I also wonder if there are any personnel managing the offices there.

What number are you calling?
I have no idea why so many people are complaining they must be calling a wrong number. I am from calgary and have never had trouble reaching the office. But I do find it very difficult to have to be there in person to apply for a passport. so Thankful the the current High Commissioner Mr Buxo, has promised to help us Westerners out. What great service. Thanks you.

Will not respond
I have asked many times for a response to an application, no answer not even the respect of a returned phone call. I feel there is very poor communications or they do not care about a citizen of T&T

Difficulities in commucating with Consul General in toronto
I represent the Nationals of T&T here in Toronto. As the Public Relations officer for Friends of Trinidad and Tobago (FOTT)here in Canada. The Staff of the Consulate General Office is very difficult to communicate with and there are long outstanding matters that are lying on thier desk that are not being attended to.One of the bigest problem is the nationals here could never get them on the phone. If that is the case why on earth they should Telephones in the office in the first place.I think they should all be replace and send back to Trinidad, they are waste of time and a waste of T&T tax payers money.
We now have a New Consul General here in Canada she is also a waste of time in that she would not address the T&T nationals problems which are in her office but see it fit to party at every funtion that she is invited to she never miss one.
