I am a lawyer. A lady contacted me regarding her application for visa to visit her husband in Spain. She says she submitted the marriage certificate as part of the application documents. According to her, she has been asked to submit pictures evidencing the civil marriage. Please would you kindly confirm if indeed it is a requirement to submit pictures evidencing marriage when the certificate of marriage is available? my sister and i submitted our documents for Visa after going through all the necessary procedures, we were told to hold on and that we were going to be called for our visa and it been three years now and time we come there all that they tell us is, to wait till we hear from them and they never did since 2007.
