Timeline for appealed visa applications
I have applied for CSV on 02-feb-2017 and it got rejected we got the outcome by 05-may . literally it took soo much time to get the outcome. On 08-may we have appealed it again. As per the info I got from SA embassy it will take 10 working days to process the application. Its 26-May today and still there is no update.

If I call to embassy there is nobody who can respond to my queries and I have been asked to contact vfs, where in the vfs people ask me to check with embassy directly.

I have a job offer and I was supposed to join to my work by march itself. Still there is no update at all for my application.

Can somebody takeup my request and respond me on my concern pleaseeeee.

CSV approved but Dependents Visa pending
I applied for CSV on 24th Feb and got it approved on 28th April however my dependent visa is still pending which was applied on 3rd May

with job offer i got 5 years CSV
it's really took 81 days.
it was applied on 06-05-2017 and received my passport on 28-04-2017.

ICT Visa
I had received my ICT visa today. It was applied on 21 Feb 17 at Delhi VFS.

Got the ICT visa today and it took around 62 days.

CSV Rejected - Not a job seeker, Currently Employed In India
Hi ,

My wife's CSV also got rejected for the same reason. We got the result last week. It seems the whole process is confusing ,
1. Which employer gives you testimonial letters with the necessary skills mentioned if you are not currently employed with them.
2. I don't understand why they prefer unemployed candidates over employed one. I think the employed candidates should be considered first over unemployed ones as they are currently working on the same skills.
3. It took exactly 107 days to get the result and the South African mission wants you to be unemployed while you are waiting for your CSV permit,at the same time they also want you to have enough funds in your account for the application.
4. If somebody is not a job seeker then why that person will spend money and time on this.

I am not sure if we should go for an appeal as I heard from others it takes takes around 6 to 8 months to get the result. Don't know what to do in this case!
