Critical Skills VISA
Hi,

Has anyone applied for Critical Skills VISA in September or recently? Any update on the VISA application? Any idea on what is the VISA applications backlog at Consulate, Mumbai?

I have applied for the VISA on 4th October. I am keen to understand what is the processing time on Critical Skills VISA these days.

Request to expedite the visa approval process for tourist visa
Dear Sir,

We had applied for tourist visa on 21st September 2017, and on tracking the status, it still shows as Application has been received at the “The Consulate General of the Republic of South Africa, Mumbai”. Please note that I have applied from Mumbai branch itself.

The trip start date is 20th October, 2017

I understand that you might have huge volumes to process but as you can see that my trip starts in less than 8 days. With all the flight tickets and accommodation booked it would really be helpful if you can provide me the visa before my date of travel.

I am going as a Visitor to South Africa now i dont know what i am suppose to do my Flight booking as well as my stay every thing will go as waste I humbly request you to kindly speed up the process and dispatch my visa today. I request your office to kindly expedite the visa process so that I can receive my passport before my travel. Please let me know in case of any concerns.

Visa Processing Time
Dear all

It's my to everyone if you are planning your holidays for south Africa,kindly apply visa at least 20 days before of the travel date .

Some times visa Processing takes time .

I had applied my visa on 13th sep 2017 and was suppose to travel on 28th, however, I didnt get my visa by then even after submitting urgent requests so I applied for withdrawal that took two days.

Tourist Visa Duration
Hi Members, I just wanted to ask if anyone has received visa within 5-10 days as claimed by the Embassy. It's been a couple of weeks since i have applied and I see no progress. I would help me decide whether I should wait as my travel date is close or withdraw the application.

Respected Sir/Madam,
I hope this letter serves you well. I’m contacting you with regards to my Tourist Visa application submitted on 13th-09-17 via Vfs Global, Mumbai. Since the aforementioned date, I haven’t received any staggering progress on my Visa request and that troubles me a lot as this is a holiday planned with my friends who are arriving from Kenya on the same day and together we wish to explore the beauty of South Africa. I am really looking forward to this trip and want to join them as per our planned scheduled and any delay would not only affect my trip but theirs as well.

Also, I have already paid for my hotel and had to rebook flight tickets which will all go in vain if it doesn’t come through on time.
I understand that Visa dept. is inundated with high volume of visa applicants and for some instances the processing time may be lengthy. However, I humbly request to kindly speed up the process and despatch my visa before 20th. Below is detail of my application.

Our group of 6 had applied for the Visa together, four have already received your approval. All our bookings and flight tickets have been confirmed, and are attached in the application as well. Our trip starts on the September 21 (midnight flight).

We had got a call from VFS on September 13, saying that we need old passport for Parichit Prakash Parmar, Application Ref No. PUAC/310817/0002/01. We travelled the same day to Mumbai and submitted the same as requested.
It’s a humble request, please kindly look in to our application and hopefully send in your approval too at the earliest.
