Clara I just want to point out to you that when I said the registration date is being considered as date of acquiring citizenship you were refusing to budge. I don't know why you weren't ready to listen.

I was lucky by the grace of God to get my Surrender Certificate in September.
Had renewed my Indian Passport after birth registration and before Bi appointment date.
Pls comfirm my earlier msg for yrslf with the passport office..
It would be nice to do so than to totally rely on my advice...dont want my msg to be misunderstood. .

Pls be informed that as of first of Novembr the passprt office considers yr portuguese regstration date that is yr assento date as the date of forign citiznship. So anyone who renewed their indian passprt after the assento date..be prepared for revocation...
This is fresh info as of today from passprt office Goa...if yr indian passport expired dont bother to renew..just surrender..they accecpt expired passprts for surrender...
