Dear Sir,
My father is a portguese passport holder since 1998 an now i want to obtain his assento de nassimento inoder to register his marriage. he said he had it and now misplaced...how to get it from the consulate as it is d requirment to register marriage........Please help........roycarferns@yahoo.co.in

The old lady there is nasty, ill mannered and un civilized. Very rude to people and sure as the previous post mentioned treats people like animals!
I have sent email to get appointment at portuguese consulate for BI. Still not received any updates.Can you tell me how to get the follow up. They don't even sent acknoledgement of the email. Please reply on cristoder@yahoo.co.in

The consulate in Goa treats people like
animals ,one stands in a queque before entering
nothing wrong with that even then another one which takes an hour,even to get simple information one has to spend hours
no one ever picks up the phone.No one to give information on anything.Wish something could be done thye should have some express counter only for enquiry.
