After collecting Portuguese passport from consulate one have to apply for surrender certificate on passport seva kendra, pay online and print the payment receipt. Visit the passport office to get the passport stamped cancelled. At the same time fill frro online application form and upload the passport surrender letter. Also prepare affidavit to cancel name on ration card and voting card. Hav to do this as soon as possible to avoid fine from frro.
