Advise on passport renewal
Passport expires March 2012. Need to travel to Msia in Dec 2012. Australian PR is valid until April 2012. Can I renew my PR visa online in Victoria and travel back to Msia to renew passport in Dec 2012? Instead of flying to Canberra to renew both pport & visa?

Graduate Visa (subclass 485) Letter of Good Conduct
I am applying for a Graduate Visa (subclass 485)in Australia and heard that i would be needing a Letter of Good Conduct from the Malaysian Embassy in Canberra. Is it possible for me to get the letter of good conduct by going to the embassy in Canberra in a few days? What form and documents would i need for it? My student visa is expiring on March 15 2012 and i need the letter of good conduct soon for me to apply for the Graduate Visa in Australia.

Please advise. Thanks

New Passport
I'm an Australian PR. My Malaysian passport is due to expire on 28 February 2012 but I've booked to travel direct to KL on 18 January 2012. The Malaysian Embassy (Mr Riko - Immigration) in Canberra has confirmed that it would not be necessary for me to travel to Canberra to obtain a new passport and that I can do that when I get to KL.

I would be grateful if you would kindly send me a written confirmation to that effect.

Thank you in advance.
Regards

Anyone you meet over the internet who suddenly needs a lot of money sent to them is scamming you. It's as simple as that. This one in particular is a common story.

Someone met over internet puporting to have to pay an ITA before leaving KL as a guarantee for entering Aust is called International travel allownance which is on travel Doc I was sent. Amount was $2500 Aust but Travel Agent allowed $1,000 to pay instead. You have to show cash funds at gate supposobly so as to not be coming to aust without any means or resorces to look after yourself & is only applies to Non aust passport holders
Please advise what you know of this as think is a spam. by travel agent & person travelling possibily. Thanks
Michael Miller

please advise
