My son is going to your consulate on the 17th April 2014 for an appointment at 9.45 am. My husband and I would like to attend together as we have enquiries about Italian passports and divorce.

I made my appointment in Brisbane and when I arrived only waited about 5 minutes. The staff were very polite and respectful and it was a pleasure to do business with them. They answered all of my questions and I came away feeling very happy. I would recommend this consulate in Brisbane to any one who needs help with Italian matters. As far as the phone is concerned, just press button number 9 and you will get someone to talk to. I have been doing this on and off for years and there has never been a problem.
This is a disgrace!!!! I had to pay $12.00 to talk to someone. Still in Limbo!!! No wonder Italy is a mess.

My father has had a stroke and can no longer speak , I have tried to phone the Consulate for months and can not get through . I would appreciate an appointment at the Brisbane office .
if you want to get visas renew passports, new passports then you need to make an on line booking and they will tell you when the consulate can see you.yes i live here in cairns and have experienced same problems not easy. as i live in cairns it is not easy to go to brisbane but i have been informed that is the only way as new passports have mico chips.As fot applying for for duel passport it is very easy. if you were born in australia and your parents were still italian at the time you qualify. if you need paperwork from italy it is almost impossible.
I am requiring an appointment time to come and renew my Italian passport as renewal is this year.
