Dear Citizens,
Please ignore comments from SAM .There is no such thing that you are safe if you are illegal. Everyone will be subjected an investigation from the Immigration. Our position is clear that we can only assist IF you can defend yourself to the Immigration.
If you have overstayed , came under tourist visa, expired work permit, lost passport please be prepared to give explanation to the Immigration.Immigration will cross check with relevant authorities, entry point ,employers, report etc.

If you have overstayed, you will be subjected to an investigation from the Immigration Department. You need to explain how you became illegal / overstayed or even lost passport. Please bear in mind, any false information will be subject to criminal conduct as Immigration will cross check with relevant authorities, entry point employers's report etc.
If you have intentionally became illegal you will be subjected to Malaysian Immigration Law

Immigration would decide the next course of action including hefty penalty, arrest, jail terms even caning. FINAL decision comes from Malaysian Immigration NOT from Embassy.

We advise our citizens to abide the law and remain legal at all times and respect Malaysian Immigration Law. We don't condone any citizen who violates the law. Please provide your contact details. Thank you
Sam
