Comments on this Consulate-General
The service is terrible, its a circus run by Hungarian clowns. Good luck to anyone trying to get a passport renewed, etc. And watch out for the gray haired woman, nasty and stupid.
With the possibility of being related, I am trying to find a list of people who were employed by the Austro-Hungarian Council in NYC in 1911. My great aunt, who was borne in Budapest, gave the Council (more specifically her brother-in-law) as the place & individual she was headed for when her ship arrived in NYC.

I've been waiting for my passport for over a year... every time I call ( if I have an answer) no one knows what's going on with it. FRUSTRATED !!!! they said it'll take 7-9 months. Feel like they took me for a ride :/
