I am a Nigerian living and working in the netherland, married to a dutch who works for the government. We invited my two sisters and my brother for summer visits and the visas were refused even though my sisters have been numerous times stating reason as not reliable. My question is since when is family not reason enough for someone to obtain a visa? We are already arranging with our lawyer to appeal to the IND here in the netherlands but you could have saved us the lawyer fees by at least looking at the documents which i believe was not opened at all, because they applied on the 16th and the visa was refused on the 17th. I humbly urge you to reconsider this decision and grant them the visas(ref no-LAGS/160611/0107/01)or at least take a look at the application documents.
i have be traveling since 2004, i was get two year visa but last year the french embassy gave me only 3 months visa, which i don't understand. i have all the document they ask for.
Many people were denied visa for no reason that could be proven.....even though all required documents are provided... I see no reason why countries like The Netherlands could trust the french. Since febuary 2010 has the french embassy the go ahead in issuing the schengen visa....but they are making abuse of this..how can a citizen of Nigeria or a Dutch citizen present an alles in french? I personally think that the french should keep their Napoleon think in france

please i need to know the requirements for an airport transit visa, i am an intending passenger with air France to Mexico, i am told i must have an airport transit since i don't have an American Visa or UK visa.
