Its a disgrace we have to travel to London French embassy when we have one in Scotland.
And very impolite for not replying to any of the emails.

How can my husband renew his French passport he is in Scotland ill health and cant go to london tried to contact Edingburgh no anwser

Rude, unfriendly, arrogant, unprofessional staff. I recently been the Edinburg Consulate General for a visa matter and observed they are treating people pretty sad manner. Some poor foreign student was chased away, just because he couldn’t understand his accent. Edinburg Consulate General staff desperately looking for any excuse to reject taking the application. I have been to several embassies around the UK [US in London, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian, Denmark, Netherland] never seen such unprofessional responds. Some people had to come 4 times just for a visiting visa. my worst experience........................
The staff, and especially the Scottish security, are so rude. They act like they are on the mission to piss you off so you don't think about visiting france ever again. I would avoid getting my visa there ever again

I was told That I could not just arrive at the consulate without an appointment,so I phoned to make one and there was nobody available. As I do not have a pc at home I was unable to email for an appointment.Please try and rectify this problem thank you.
