Cuban Medical Scholarship
I am a humble, hardworking and dedicated student who life long dream is to become a doctor. With a scholarship to study medicine this dream could become a reality. If i am selected for a scholarship, i would work hard, and after becoming a doctor i would use my skills to help people.

In formation about the Medical Schools in Cuba.
Good day, I would like to know how do I go about obtaining information about the different medical schools in Cuba that offer Jamaican students full or part scholarships, what are the requirements and how do I go about applying. Also, which schools require a tuition to attend and approximately how much is that tuition fee. Thanks in advance and please email me as soon as possible via this email address: krissib_49@hotmail.com

Scholarships to study medicine in Havana Cuba
Hello,I am a 19 year past student of a traditional high school in Jamaica where i did the sciences. I have 8 CXC's, 8 CAPE subjects and i'm sitting four CAPE subjects this year. I am an aspiring pediatric neurosurgeon inspired by Benjamin Carson. However, i do not have the money required to pursue this, my most important dream. As such i am looking into all the opportunities available for me to get a scholarship. I recently heard about the Cuban scholarships but i have no idea how to apply for one. It would be highly appreciated if i received some guidance with the application process. Please email me at futrdoctor19@yahoo.com. Thanks in advance for your kind cooperation.

Responses to scholarship questions
I am a past student of Cuba, Santiago de Cuba to be exact. Many persons are more aware than before of scholarships being offered in Cuba. I would advise you to visit either Min. Of Foreign Affairs (scholarship department) and or Min of Education. The bilateral and caricom scholarships are normally advertise in the local papers but you should be able to obtain information at either of the ministries especially foreign affairs. However, I must warn you, it is very competitive. Please please, research and make sure that is your career choice before you apply as Jamaica have a very good passing rate but sadly we do have those who weren't able to complete the courses due to one reason or another. I will check this medium from time to time to see if I can assist.
