take 8 to 10 months after sponsorship approval...just got my visa after 10 months of waiting and soon will fly to Canada....always checked your email. No need to contact the embassy, they will be the one to contact you. Goodluck and pray always.

Job sites
For jobs offered abroad particularly Canada, verify legal offers from POEA Manila (you can google their website. If job offered from agency in Canada, one way to verify their credibility or legality is through Better Business Bureau (BBB).

As to how to apply for a job to Canada and what are the requirements, the best source of information is through their official website which is www.cic.gc.ca

To all my kababayans,

Please DO NOT send any money to any individuals nor any agencies claiming that they can guarantee a job for you without verifying from POEA or Better Business Bureau in Canada. We always hear people have been victimized by these scammers. Mag-ingat po sa mga illegal recruiters! This site is not the official site of Canada. Website for Canadian Embassy: www.cic.gc.ca
