to whom it may concern
first of all, I thank you because of helping too many refugees for resettlement in Canada.
I was an interpreter for US army in Kandahar (hired by MEP) and when the us troops were leaving some bases, our company released a high number of interpreters.all the interpreters put their lives at risk to assist and help with ISAF.I fled my home because I worked whit Americans
Am I eligible. in your website to resettle in Canada?

To Whom It May Concern;

My father had private hostility and the hostile party was very resourceful. Our economic conditions were so bad and could not move out. After I grew up, my father got paralyzed and could not work anymore and we were just students. My father was compelled to marry his daughters at young ages. I was the youngest. When I passed to the 7th grad, I started looking for a job. I found a job at Attorney General Office in Afghanistan as a cleaner. After a lot of struggles, I found a job in New Afghanistan foundation where I was a trainee of poultry during 2011 and 2012. I also worked as an interpreter in Ghazni, Nangarhar, Paktika, Kunar, Laghman, Logar, Kapisa, Panjshir and Bagram with American Special Forces. At the very provinces where I used to work, I would receive threat calls to leave working. I could not since I was the only bread winner for the family. Once I left for home, on the way I was stabbed by man riding motorcycle. I found myself in the hospital. I was injured in my back.
A month later I was able to start working. My boss told me to pack for a trip to Jalalabad. We had a week training there. One day during the week after we had dinner, I went to sleep earlier since I had a terrible headache. I was raped by my boss that night. I was planning to lodge a complaint to police department but my boss told me that I might be imprisoned for adultery. I came home and told the story to my family. My mother started crying. She took to police department. The person got imprisoned but shortly he was released. Upon his release from prison, he threatened me to kill me.
No one was prepared to marry me since I had an issue of rape. Finally my cousin, who was much older than I was, married me. I didn’t want that marriage. My mother insisted. Then I got sick and could not get cured in Kabul, Afghanistan. I could not go to Pakistan since my husband was involved in prevented a suicide attack on Kabul Bank. Currently, I live in Turkey and the living conditions are so harsh. I cordially request the US government to give us the visas to get resettled in the United States.

Shabana Bayat
