coronavirus/zambian students in china
please don't just leave it to the Chinese government. help our children. apart from the danger of the virus there is a risk of starvation. shops have stocked out.locals have gone to rural homes for holidays and the children are holed up in their rooms without supplies. reach out to them and do anything possible

CORONAVIRUS
The Ambassador,

My daughter is at Xuzhou medical university and about 100 other Zambians confined to the University in the wake of the coronavirus. I am in constant communication with her for now the school is on lockdown, is there a need to register the student population in China with the Embassy and avenues are in place for this? I am informed there is an organisation AZSIC requesting for students to provide their details through them, is this legitimate? As much as we are anxious for the safety of our kids we would like to exercise caution to avoid information following in wrong hands.
Your quick response is appreciated.

poor service delivery
I think that the Zambian embassies have lost their value! I applied for a new passport with the embassy in Beijing and had to wait more than six months instead of six weeks and the passport still did come through! I had to go back to Zambia to get a new one! What kind of officials do we have in office? They can't even follow or read the time! I'm sure they don't know how to use email either because they fail to keep in touch with their own passport office in Zambia! What happened to the passport is a mystery! Perhaps they sold it after I left! Another Zambian embassy has sent a high commissioner for a second term! No wonder there is such voter apathy in Zambia!
