California driver’s license renewal
Good day.

I have tried over the past two years to renew my drivers license online, per the request of the DMV of California. Obviously living in Austria I can not go in person and due to the past two years, it wasn’t possible. The challenge is that the website is not able to assist with some many people going online. It just keeps downloading and nothing has happened. I have spoken to a person working there who also said that it should not be a problem for me to renew online. However, it is. So I have an extremely expired drivers license and have no way to renew it. I would be grateful for assistance in this matter.

Thank you for your time

Last point; all you had to watch their super bowl football match on Sunday. The whole afair and especially midgame performance by that "singer" Kathy Perry and the rest of the group. If you find that whole thing entertaining and interested you deffinetely belong in America. Otherwise all those millions around the world who watched it because it came from America, must have just laughed at it, for the spectacle was so bizarre, wacky and wierd that it could only come from bizarre, wacky and wierd country, America. Is this a "culture" or what? Enough said.
America the "beautiful"

Just look at the history of America in the last 100 years. Before the WWII the life for the majority/regular folks was simply terrible. Then the 1-10% controlled at least 80-90% of wealth. The inequality was unbelievable and there was no middle class, AT ALL. Come WWII, America comes out if it as rich country, the only one that profited on that terrible war. Due to formation of socialist/communist countries in Euro American elite had no choice but to improve the lot for their exploited masses, for they had to prove that American way of life/democracy was superior to Socialists'. Thus the middle class was formed and prospered under American version of SOCIALISM. Yes that was socialism but they never told you or uttered the word, SOCIALISM. It was a dirty word. Yet via tax system that was fair and equitable, the wealth of America, created by their working class, was destributed and re-destibuted (Socialism) via their fair tax system. The super rich were taxes up to 90% of their taxable income and yet they were stil rich and super-rich, while you the regular folks lived well as middle class earners, able to live even on one family income, with all the benefits, house, car, education etc etc. That went on and was beautiful and envy of the world, but then the evil Regan came in. You know what happened. De-regulation and tax cutting for the rich did the job of starting to destroy your middle class. Other govts that folowed continued with Reganomics (the brutal capitalist system) and thus you have almost no middle class left. Again as before the WWII, the 1-10% control 80% of your wealth and is getting worse. They want more tax cuts and deregulations that will lead to more inequality and complete destruction of middle class. Yes folks you had a period of Socialism American style that worked for everyone, including the rich. Now you have "socialism" only for the elite but capitalism for you. The free market can NOT create middle class, it destroys it and you are witnessing it on your own skin.
Now the question is; how did this happen in a land of "democracy" where govt is supposed to be "by the people for the people"? Simple, you have no demcracy any longer, you have corporate state where moneyed elite "buys" the govt they want to have, that puts you further down till you are nothing but modern age slaves.
Just look at those two brothers, what they are doning right this minute. Is this democracy?
Worse yet your govt is "exporting" this kind of "democracy" at the point of a gun to countries that can not fight back. One day they will try to do it to someone who CAN fight back. Then it'll be over for them and everyone else. Maybe we can have a better non-american style world fo all.
Another alternative is for you and us to start the DE-AMERICANIZATION OF AMERIC AND THE WORLD. Greece and Spain today have stared the trend. Join or parish, that is the choice you and all others have.

Georg....
.....at your own peril. If he is an Austrian, by birth and is living there and LOVES America, he is one of those who has something wrong with them. Perhaps it is not his fault, but something wrong with him nevertheless. For someone to prefer USA over Austria, especially Vienna (declared the best city IN THE WORLD to live in for the last few years) is simply, insane. What do you like there? McDonalds, Walmart, their health care system, their poverty rate of 40%, their "civil wars" going on in inner cities, their 400.000.000 guns in hands of civilians, etc ets. Or you are one of those few Austrians who are obcsenely rich, so you would fit perfectly amongst the 1-10% of Americans that own and control 80% of their wealth, while exploiting everyone they can in the world. Austria is one of the most fair and socio-economically just countries, along with Scandianvian ones. While in America the income inequality is 15:1 it is 6:1 in Austria. This amongst those who work for living not exploit others for profit. Where would you rather live? Again we point out the reality: if you are doing well in Vienna as the best city in the world, why would you ever consider moving to america to take a chance to become poor. Your chances are far better to become poor than to make it big. So called American dream has become American nightmare for most.
When I was leaving Vienna, many moons ago for this destination in N. America, the locals were laughing at me saying you are **&^ crazy to do it. They were right. You can beieve Georg or you can believe the reality, it's your choice. But if you go, please do not buy one way ticket.

DON'T LISTEN TO THE CANADIAN!
Don't listen to anything he says. He is obviously either a troll or somebody who was payed by the Kremlin for spreading lies. What he says is based on no actual facts whatsoever.
I am Austrian myself (from Vienna), I've been to the US three times already and I absolutely LOVED it, it's such a great country, believe me!

OBAMA'S SPEECH AT UN
Are you watching this, or watched it? Yes you can not make this us. Obama speaking from both sides of his mouth. Accusing Russia of agression, use of force etc etc in Ukraine, while they were the ones creating the crisis as they want to move closer to Russian borders, while he has ordered killings of thousands if not millions in the name of "peace". This happening as he speaks, in fact. Hypocrisy of an anbelieavable level. Obama is a complete failure and disapointment for all the people who had so much hope in him when he was elected and even given Nobel Peace Prize (what a mistake). No American president can ever be qualified for such prize, coming from a violent country in permanent state of war. What is going on in terms of violence and terror is all american doing. It is that simple. Remember; one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. During the darkest days of nazi occupation of Europe, hitler called all freedom fighters terrorist. Including French, Russian, Yugoslav freedom fighters. They were heros for us, just as those labeled terrorist today, are for them.
Real peace is the only answer and that inclides cooperation, understanding, negotiation, pull back from NATO expansion, etc etc. The biggest danger for the world is that america will attack someone who can fight back (unlike so far like Granada, Panama, Iraq) and them we'll all be done. It is that simple.

It ain't
For anyone even thinking to visit or worse yet, emigrate to USA, thing many times before you make your mistake. Just look what is happening there right now. Police are killing unarmed, mostly peaceful citizens (does not help if you are of color) in hundreds if not thousands every year. It is a war zone there (better term would be civilwar) for those who are not as republicans would prescribe to be. If you are not like "them"
you are in constant danger, both in the cities and country. Imagine walikng in any Texas town where everyone of "them" is armed with at least one gun. They shoot first then they shoot again. Some time ago a Korean student knocked on someone's door, they opened it and shot the student with colt 45. Many times. "Best" yet,the shooter got away for in that state you are OK to shoot anyone who you think is endagering you.
The whole country is in such crisis that only if you are from a destitute place like Iraq and similar places, you may be better off in USA. Don't make a mistake of moving there and be more poor than in your own country. It is far, far worse there. Of course there is wealth there, not for you but only for 1% and few more who serve them and apologise for them. That 1% owns and controls 40% of country's wealth. Then they take 90% of all the new income made, so the chicken bones are left for the rest. Now imagine what is waiting for you as an immigrant from some third world country.
No sane Euro person would even dream when drunk to come here. Unless some special reason, like going insane or transfer from multinational corporations. They by the way rule America. it is called corporatism not capitalism as you may think. It is a brutal system and will lead to their second civil war soon. In fact it might have already started as you watch it on TV. Go to RT-TV you'll get the real story. American media is owned, controlled and sanitized by the corporations that own everything.
ps; just look who wants to go to america on this site. That should make it clear to you as European. Remember Europe is the ONLY truly good, cultured and civil place on earth for you to live and work.
