Dissapointed
It is just not right you loose your money when you do not get through. At least some reund should be given. You sit and watch their ad welcome to America, I am America etc and you get turned down. I don't have a visa and don't want one, however my child was given a did well in exam gift by his grandparents to visit with family and he was turned down. What really upset the hell out of me was the consulate watch my kid and myself as though I was trying to pimp my kid out of the country with his grandmother. I fought to control the jungle instinct, to tell that guy off. Denied my kid an opportunity after working and studying so hard to be able to shop and enjoy spending time with his cousins who live in America. You people should really look into a refund for citizens you treat people like they are begging to visit your country. My money would be better spent in the Caribbean.

applied twice
I applied for a visa in 1991 when i was 14 yrs old i presented my school letter ,birth certificate only the officer told my dad that i need a bank statement ,my dad said i am a student therefore i do not have an account,he told dad TO LET SUM FAMILY PUT SUM MONEY IN HIS NAME AND COME BACK IN 6 MTHS,,well we did as we were told ,together with an invitation letter from my sis and her husy,2 seperate letters that is ,school letter,a 2 way ticket which she got at discounted rate since she was a flight attendant with PANAM,on the morning the officer said ,,no need 4 ticket ,no need 4 invition letter, and said to us my sis and i ,,,O SO YOU ARE A STUDENT AND U HAVE 15,000.00 TT in the bank ,where did u get it from he asked,,she told him my grand dad opened an acc and put the money because we were told 2 do so 6 mths ago by another officer,he said NO need 4 this bank statement ,all he took was my school letter, when we returned at 1 pm i was rejected again since then i never apply 4 usa visa will like a response from any 1 in authority
