Background search on my deceased Father
I am writing in hopes of finding out about how my father lived and died. I never got to know my father because he left the family when I was three years old (I'm now 55) when he went back to Sicily. I just got back from his home town Termini Imerese, PA)where Iwas able to meet a cousin and one of my father’s 2nd wife’s nephew. My cousin was unable to give me any information on my father, and the nephew gave me very sketchy, bizarre and unverifiable information about how he lived and ultimately died. I went to the municipality where he was born, where he died, drove by his last known house, and even to the nursing home where he supposedly died in 1992. He was a former carabiniere in Calabria, and yet, not one person could give me any information. Is this something you could help me with? I also contacted the Italian Consulate in NYC who was unable to help me even though he was in the USA for several years. Thank you.

Hello,
I have officially sealed copies of birth and marriage documents from the United States. Can I have the Apostille done here in Italy? I need the documents for my Italian citizenship application.
Thank you,

Property in Palermo
My mother and aunt owned a home in Palermo. Both are now deceased. I was born in italy and am now a US citizen. The house has been empty for years, but I was recently told that squatters have moved in and taken over the house. What do I need to do to contest their actions and have them thrown out of our family home?
