Applied for B2 visa where as granted C1 D
I am holding passport N1534820. My DS-160 confirmation no is AA006NXWJA. I had applied for B2 visa with my family. My interview date was 10th Feb 2017. I had clearly mentioned that I will be in transit while traveling to CANADA in summer vacation. On my return journey I had planned to visit SAN FRANCISCO for six days. I am granted C1 visa (transit visa ) instead of B2.I am a ground staff not a crew staff.Definitely I will not apply for a transit visa with family . Please assist me how can I be a tourist with this visa.

I was not asked any documents. If given chance I can provide all my documents again. I am working with Air India since 1993.and I have travel to UK and Europe in NOV 2012. I am holding CANADA tourist visa from August 2016 to July 2025.Never faced such misunderstanding.

Will appreciate if my visa category is changed from C1 to B2 for which I actually applied.
