non immigrant visa
I have 2 friends in colombia that showed us a real nice time there. I wanted to repay their kindness by having them come here. I sent a letter stating that I would be responsible for them, and also procured a letter from a Congressman. they denied the visas, stating that my friends wanted to be illegal citizens, making me an accomplice in harboring illegal immigrants. I hope to hold these people for their actions

Authorities not really helpful
With regards to the possible Yanayacu river tour, which should include at least two women in order to be normal, the Brazilian, Colombian and Peruvian authorities from the neighboring states ("departments" are called here)cannot be expected to be cooperative. I would rely more in Lima, Bogotá or Sao Paulo directly. Not even the FUNAI protects the Matiz (The Jaguar People) so much as these Departments do with the latest inhabitants of the Yanayacu rive´s Spring and Winter Jungle Camp, distant four to five hours using a 40 hp motor from the mouth of the Zacambú river over the Javari river, border between Perú and Brazil.Communications are excellent and everything is provided in advance. No improvisations at all. Welcome to the old adventures. No visa required.Cordially

COMPLAINT IN REFRENCE TO THE TREATMENT TO A AMERICAN IN YOUR EMBASSY
I am an American Citizen born and raised in this Country. I have always been proud of my Country in every way knowing what a great nation we are. I got married almost eight years ago and due to this marriage I ended up fixing my husbands Legal Status which today after eight years we are still together and have created a wonderful life together. My husband earlier this year found out he had a nine year old daughter which he did not know of her existence of which she was born in Bogotá, Colombia. He made everything right by going over there and giving her his last name recognizing her as his daughter. The problem we are having know is that we cannot request her Resident Ship to this Country due to her mom will not give us Custody of the little girl so we spoke to a lawyer and he then told us to request a Visa for to be able to travel just for Vacation to be with the father she has not been with for the last nine years. Today my husband Omar Munoz had the appointment to present himself to request the Visa for his Daughter. When he arrived the Consular officer that he spoke to was very RUDE to him not taking in account that my husband is know a Citizen of this Country. All he did was ask my husband questions in reference to his life here and he had the nerve to ask my husband how much he had paid me to fix his status. Which if you check you would see he never paid, and the fact that we are still together should be accounted for. He also had the nerve to ask my husband how was it possible that my husband had a daughter there and got married here and far as I'm concerned that is non of his business and also on my husbands defense the fact that he did not know of her existence and only found out a few months ago. This Consular officer was more worried about what my husband did when he was here than even looking at my husbands Daughters file. He went on to denied her the Visa with out even asking my husband one single question about what the little girl was going to do once she got here. He had the nerve to imply that my husband was going to leave his daughter here illegally. Why would he leave her illegally know that he is now a US Citizen and can give her resident ship. The Consular Officer went on and denied her the Visa to come here only for Vacation. This to me as a Born and raised US Citizen is a disgrace that we have people like this representing our Country. I would not be so mad if he would have given my husband a logical reason as to why he denied it which he did not give him any reason. I'm more mad at the fact that he never even gave him that chance to present his case and that he was so disrespectful. I do ask that you be more careful when you have your own people requesting your help. He know has to break his daughters heart and tell her that she will not be joining her father for Christmas which that was her only wish. It is a shame that our own people can be so cruel I understand that my husband was illegal here at one point but there is no reason for you to disrespect him know that he is a Citizen and if a legal Tax Payer in this Country. I appreciate any help anyone can give us in reference to this matter. Thank you for your cooperation
