Application for UK visa for Indian national (touring in US)
We are a dance company in UK (Chitraleka Dance Company) issuing a contract of work to an Indian national for the period 26 August to 21st October 2013. I will be issuing him a work permit through an agency for the work nearer the time.
The person in question is a professional musician who will be on tour of the United States during Mid-May to Mid-August 2013.
My query is: Would it be possible for the musician to apply for his visa to a British Embassy in US so he can directly travel to UK?

urgent - help with passport
Help, I need some advice about how to complain about passport services. I sent my application in for a name change since I had remarried. Also, I noticed my original passport has misspelled my middle name so I filled in my application to reflect correct spelling. 10 days later I get a call from gentleman at Passport Processing Agency who told me I need to send in my birth certificate, which I did. I get my passport 3 weeks later and it is still spelled incorrectly. I call up on the pay-service helpline and was told yes, they made a mistake, send in passport and birth certificate to get it corrected. I did it the next day. On May 2nd I get a phone call saying they won't change my passport and if I want it corrected I need to pay another $244. The reason; they say I told them I didn't care how my name was spelled, which is, to be kind, an untruth and I never uttered those words. I tried to reason with them by asking why was my passport not sent out immediately if I had agreed, why was I required to send in my birth certificate, why would i follow up on the pay-as-you-go hotline, why would i spend more money at ups store to send it in.Please help me get this matter sorted. They supplied me with an email address to complain but as yet, I haven't received an acknowledgement. I need help. Where do I go now to get this matter sorted?

I called the Embassy in AZ who said i would have to speak with the DC embassy. When calling them every option i pressed said that they didnt have anybody to service that request and to check on the Internet site. I am not finding my answers here (probably not looking in the right place) so can someone please let m eknow what i have to do and as its only been 8 months do i have to pay a fee?
