visa in transit
Hello, I'm in desperate need for advice. I live in the US. My gf lives and is from Ukraine. We will both be flying to Mauritius this Friday. We just found out that she might need a visa in transit because she has a connecting flight. (Heathrow to Gatwick). The transit time is only 8hrs but the fact that she has to switch airport requires a visa and there is not enough time to obtain one. Plz help!! My email is jbhuju01@villanova.edu

Can I travel to the UK?
I have the opportunity to travel to Manchester to work for about a week. I know that I do not need a visa for travel, but was convicted of a drug related felony 23 years ago. I can't seem to find any information as to whether or not I would be granted or denied admmission to the UK. Any help would be appreciated.

Documents requested for my girlfriend with a US Greencard to visit me in the UK
Dear Sirs,
My girlfriend lives in the US and she wants to visit me this summer. She is financially independent as she is working and studying too. I would really appreciate if you could advise us what documents she would need to provide to the UK Embassy in Washington DC for her visa application. My email is godfella@hotmail.co.uk.

Many Thanks

Condolences from the USA
I remember with the deepest respect and admiration the life of Margaret Thatcher. She and Ronald Reagan will always be my role models. "Where there is discord, may we bring harmony. Where there is error, may we bring truth. Where there is doubt, may we bring faith. And where there is despair, may we bring hope."

Condolences
My wife and I want to extend our deepest condolences to the family and to the people of the United Kingdom on the passing of Baroness Margaret Thatcher. She was a wonderfully strong and effective world leader. There is no doubt that history will show that we were blessed to have had her guidance in troubled times. We all owe so much to her.

I would echo the sentiments of Daniel Simpson with regard to the decision by the administration of the American government not to send a high-level official delegation to the funeral. This is not the place to expand on this issue, but we do offer an apology on behalf of we Americans who have admired and acknowledge the accomplishments of Margaret Thatcher. May she rest in peace.

Appology
I would like to offer my condolences to the British people on the death of Margret Thatcher, she was a good friend to all freedom loving people around the world. I would also like to offer my appologies for the disgraceful decision on the part of my government to not send a representative to attend the services being held for Baroness Thatcher. It is clear that the current U. S. administration is incapable of responding to any situation with anything other than base political ideology. She deserved better.
