born in malta - please help me find where i lived
hello all,
I was born at David Bruce military hospital, Imtarfa, on 31 may 1957.
My father was in the Royal Navy. He was a CPO serving on HMS Victorious (R38) and was stationed in Malta.
I believe that we lived in the south of the island but I do not know where.
I would like to find out what our address was and I would very much like to visit the place where we lived when I was a child. My father was Ronald Laurence, and my mother was Marjorie. I also had a sister a few years older called Linda Susan.
My Father's Father was true maltese and named antonio cardona. He was a merchant seaman, married a welsh lady, and settled in Cardiff, south wales (Uk).
any information would be most gratefully recieved
thank you
anthony cardona (Tony)

Trying to find my grandfathers birth certificate.
My grandfather (Frederick Wilfred Thompson) was born in Valletta! Malta in 1905. His father (Frank Thompson) was in the British Navy at the time, based in Malta. There is no record of his birth certificate, so is there a possibility that his birth would have been registered through your office and registered in England?? and if so do you have records going back to 1905??
Thanks for your time
