Canadian Volunteer in the UK
I'm planning to volunteer in London in May for 4 weeks and am confused about the type of visa I'm required to obtain. I'm a Canadian full-time university student, going for academic reasons but not going to be enrolled at a UK post-secondary school. Would I be applying for the Tier 5 or Tier 1 visa? I won't be obtaining an income, nor do I have family of UK ancestry. Any advice would be helpful!

British Citizenship
My parents are born and raised in the UK. I was born in the UK-1966, our family immigrated to Canada when I was 4 and all became Canadian citizens. All of our UK citizenships were revoked at that time. I would like to regain my UK citizenship to ultimately hold dual citizenships, Is this a possibility and if so how do I go about achieving it.

passport expiry date
I am planning to visit to UK on Feb 5 to Feb 12,2014 with my son. we are Canadian citizen and holds a Canadian passport that expires July 16, 2014. Some countries will not allow you to enter if your passport expires within three or six months of departure. Is that true for UK? Should we request an urgent passport renewal or we are okay? All the information that we have come across list a "valid passport" as a requirement but a passport is still "valid" even if it expires within three or six months. Please advise.

passport expiry date
My father is visiting the UK from January 25 to March 02, 2014. He is a Canadian citizen and holds a Canadian passport that expires July 13, 2014. Some countries will not allow you to enter if your passport expires within three or six months of departure. Is that true for UK? Should he request an urgent passport renewal or will he be fine? All the information that I have come across list a "valid passport" as a requirement but a passport is still "valid" even if it expires within three or six months. Please advise.

British citizenship
I am trying to find out if I can apply for citizenship as I was born in 1967 in Canada, however both sets of grandparents were born in England. My parents were born in Canada in 1944-45. I am trying to understand the information on your citizenship site however I still need more info. I believe I am entitled to British citizenship due to my family and my date of birth however I would like to get a little more details if possible. I have my grandparent long form birth certificates and red passport, also my great grandfather medals from dying in WW1 while serving in British Forces. If you could help that would be Great.
