Passport
My father was born in Hong Kong in 1954. When he left Hong Kong in 1972 to come to Canada he was issued a UK passport. Since becoming Canadian he has never renewed his UK citizenship. Would I be able to apply for a UK passport since my father was born in Hong Kong while it was still under British rule?

Last Night at the Proms
Hello,
I'm a member of the Oakham House Choir of Ryerson University currently helping with the promotion of our Last Night at the Proms concert on Saturday, April 25th, 7:30 pm at Calvin Presbyterian Church. This is a tribute to the infamous Royal Albert Hall Concerts held every year. Does anyone know of any site or media that I can post our event that will reach the British people ion the GTA?
Thank you.

childs pr card
I have had so much hassle trying to get pr card for my 13 (now 15yr) son, we got ours through quickly as had all paperwork, I lost the paperwork we got when landed so had to then apply for new one, they need two forms of id with picture, he only has his passport (and old one which we photocopied) I sent his health card (but no pic) but explained that he was too young for a student school card (he now isn't) why is it so hard to do these forms, all the information is on the cards in the first place so why do we have to up date.
long story short - I still haven't done it (as working two jobs and no time) but now his grandfather is gravely ill and we may have to go back, is there anyway we can overcome this hassle so he can visit and actually get back into Canada???
we are also having to make an appointment to come and get an extension on our passports (didnt realise we would need them so soon|)
