Reopening of Visa Section
Could you please indicate as soon as possible when the Visa Section at the Embassy will be open for applications - we have friends who wish to visit but the cost & complications of going to another country are too difficult

opening British embassy
Dear Sir/Madam
When is the British embassy going to be opened? Ordinary people are suffering.
I am expecting a child in a month and have no family in UK and really want to see my mother but it is too expensive to go to other countries to get visa.
It would be so helpful if someone could tell us how many more months do we have to wait.
Many thanks
Mrs. Catherine Bolouri

A Native English Lady Living in Tehran
I am a British woman residing here in Tehran. I was wondering if there are any job vacancies available where English as a native-speaker would be needed.
As far as I know there is no such thing as a "Job Centre" and the local papers do not really cater for foreigners here who are looking for work!
I have posted my email as seen below, and would be very grateful for any information conccerning employment. eg. Teaching, Dubbing & Narrating, Supervising, IELTS Examiner, Interviewing and consular office work ...etc.

Yours sincerley.

Mrs. Catherine Bolouri

Please open the embassy in Tehran
The only people who suffer as the result of the embassy closure in Tehran are ordinary people who have nothing to do with politics. How can anybody expect an elderly parent in Iran to have to travel to Dubai or Turkey in order to just come to this country to visit his/her children? Is that fair keeping families separate from each other like this? PLEASE OPEN THE EMBASSY.
