Waiting Time
On the application forms downloaded from the official site, It clearly states the waiting time required to process the passport, would be a four week process from the date received
MY application was received on the second of may , hence my uneasy feeling something was wrong after being on hold for twenty five minuets I was then transferred to another lady who informed me the waiting time is a six weeks process and not four weeks
I was told to go to the nearest embassy and get an emergency visa, would an emergency visa last longer than six months to enter Bali on a holiday for nine days , anyone have any ideas on this as its a long week end ill have to wait until Tuesday to get to the embassy in Perth many thanks Pete the pom.

Renewal of my British Passport
I am stunned that a oountry such as ours has failed it's Citizen's. I have tried time and time again to get in contact with the consulate. All I hear is a very posh female elling me to try the compuler. I have a computer but no printer. I have tried the libraries without luck and being a new resident in Australia have no friends with a printer. Come on allow the Post Offices to carry out this task. They aleady ask $25 to check if we have done it correctly, thats if we get it printed.

Re. Passports
I find it ridiculous that you cannot go to the Post Office here to do the paper work for a British Passport, all they say is do it on line......Okay thats fine for the people that have a Computer but hey not everyone has one!!.....or does not know how to use them. What are they supposed to do, you have to phone UK for enquiries Cannot even get in touch with the Consulate as they do not take personal calls. Come on wake up, do it the old way again. No wonder everyone is stressed in this life. For the older generation especially who do not want or need damn Computers.........
