Comments on this Consulate
I am autonomo in Spain and I am in the process of importing my UK car into Spain. I believe that there is an agreement between the UK Govt and the Spanish Govt. that you are permitted to import 1 vehicle free of any duty levied by the hacienda. Is this still the case and if so please explain the procedure. Thanks in advance
I have been living with my Spanish partner for 3 and half yeas, we have children together and wish to register as "parejas del hecho" ...... I have spoken to somebody here in the village we live and have a list of documentation needed....I have nearly everything except for a certificate or documentation stating my civil status is "single" also I need to translate this document plus my UK birth certifcate....
Please can you inform me as to where I can get the document needed and how do I go about getting the papers translated???
Thank you very much
Rhian
There are lots of messages on here requesting help and information but the British Consulate. Although embassy-finder has lots of useful contact details and informative links, is not connected with the consulate, so consular staff are never going to see the posts on here.
For the correct contact details, office opening times and the list of services on offer at all of the British consulates in Spain, visit www.gov.uk and search "embassy Madrid".
Can you help me please
I have paid 9 years rent to my landlord. BUT! Now! After a knee operation in Motril hospital, he won´t let me back into the apatment. Surely this is illegal? Please help as I´m pretty desperate as I have nowhere to live.
Dear Mr.Steve Jones,
My name is Andrew Trice, I am the holder of British passport.
I spoke with two of your colleagues at the British Consulate in Malaga
last week and explained over the phone my desperate and vulnerable
situation, I also sent them a 9 page document which explains in full my
personal circumstances that have led me to the extremely grave situation I
am still in. I have also sent this document to the British Embassy, The
British Consulate, The Ajuntamineto De Mijas Costa La Cala offices and to
my social worker in La Cala social services office.
I called the British consulate two hours ago and spoke to a man whom I
asked to call me back as I have no money or credit on my Spanish mobile
phone. No one has called me!

I look forward to your reply
Thank you Steve
