Boyfriend held against will to complete Road Construction.
My boyfriend, James Wilkins, is currently being held against his will to complete road construction project. 6 months ago, he arrived in Lagos to do a construction project, he was to have met with the project manager. But he was a no show. On the way to the airport, he was approached by a previous Company he had done work for. They offered him a short term job (4 weeks) to build a road to a oil pipeline. There were numerous problems on the site with the Nigerian government. In the intrem, he got very sick, had his gallbladder removed, incurred lots of expenses. Recently (7/1/13) he was at the Lagos airport ready to leave on Emeriates Airlines, when he was approache by 2 man, who told him that he could not leave the country without finishing the job. I did not hear from him for several days, then I receive an email from a Mohammed Qatar, states he is powerful man in Dubai and Nigeria. And if I ever want to see my boyfriend again he has to stay and complete the project. This man refuses to oay for this hotel or for food. He has repetedly email me that if he does not work he will kill him. James Wilkins in Nigeria on a British passport, he has dual citizenship, American too. I am scared what the crazy man may do. He has no money, passport or his ticket he just bought, as he has had them destroied, so he could not leave. British Consulate you need to step in on this problem, a mans life is at stake.
