my friend called me on 28 feb.that he was held at KL airport malaysia because he took too much cheque with him.he didn't know he couldn't do that.The officer asked him to pay 5000 US$ he paid only 4400 US$ as he has ne cash.One officer told him he would be released and could fly to Bankkok if he could pay 400 $ more but until now he is still there. My fiance is there on business with his 14yr old daughter. They live in the UK...They were mugged and beaten on the way back to their hotel. They took all his money, credit card, passport and business documents..He is a millionare however he cant get any money because he does not use the online banking system thru the Bank of Scotland..Currently his daughter is in a coma and needs surgery from the mugging..another woman that was with them was shot....i have no money to give to him...CAN SOMEONE FROM THE CONSULATE HELP HIM GET BACK ON HIS FEET AGAIN?? I have a friend and he is a Scottish Citizen. He had a business trip in Malaysia last Dec 13, 2010. While in Malaysia he had a car accident, he can't get out in Malaysia because he lost the important documents including his money. He had a problem to the Malaysia Immigration, they want him to pay his over stay for the amount of $7,000. Please help him to be out in Malaysia. Im begging you to give important to this because he has a 5 year old son waiting for him in Scotland and he told me that he try to contact the nanny of his son and he cant reached them and he heard a news that the nanny left his son to the orphanage. Hi,
My fiance is UK citizen and while in a business transaction, was framed by his business associate and is now in police custody. I'm not clear where he is or how he has access to internet, but am able to send me very short messages.
I don't see how there's enough evidence to charge him as I'm aware of the transaction and see no reason he could be charged.
Can the embassy assist him with getting legal counsel or how can he be released? I can't get his exact location at this time, which police station.
